Wrinkle ridge
May 1,2015

Part of wrinkle ridge located in Thaumasia Planum region was taken by mars colour camera(MCC)on 01-05-2015 at aspecial resolution of 29 m from altitude of 551 km.Wrinkle wridge passing through this region and impact craters of various dimensions are seen in this image.Wrinkle wridge on planetary surface are formed due to compressional stress regime.Ridge means linear/curvilinear elongated raised structure.

Water Content
December 02,2014

Image of Mangala Valles and part of Sabis Valles regions of Mars taken by Mars colour Camera on board Mars orbiter mission on december 02,2014 at a spatial resolution of 470m from an altitude of 9032km.Image clearly shows the flow pattern in the Mangala Valles region.Channel bar in MCC image indicates release of vast quantities of water in this area by catastrophic floods.
